I’m from a small-town in Northeast Ohio, born & raised. Contrary to popular belief I actually LOVE it here! We’re about 10 minutes to the dock of my absolute favorite local lake. I obviously have a passion for going all-of-the-places and seeing all-of-the-things but Ohio has a lot to offer if you know where to look and what to appreciate.
You betcha! I work full time from home for a medical equipment company. I’d absolutely love to quit my day job and blog/travel full time but for now this works and I’ll share my part time adventures for as long as I can with ya’ll. I’ve been with my company for 12+ years so I strategically plan all of my vacation time (which is a generous amount based off my time employed) and I try to utilize all of the long weekends that I can.
OOOhhh man – THERE ARE SO MANY – how do I even chose? I would have to say Angels landing in Zion National Park in Utah. It was on my bucket list for YEARS & when I finally got the chance to do it, it certainly did not disappoint. It was challenging, with wild views, red rocks, chains…. gahhhh TAKE. ME. BACK!!!! This was pre-permit days so it was easier to access then too. We took the first shuttle out that day, tackled Walters Wiggles (IYKYK) and headed straight to the summit. I wish I could do that exact day over again. So cool!
I love having all of my travel stuff right in one place. My type A personality thrives on organization and we’ve accumulated a decent amount of travel info over the past decade. I like having a place to share my thoughts with anyone who wants to read – which in all honestly, that’s probably just my mom and like 3 other people, but whatever, I think its fun and it makes me happy so I’ll do it! I’m no professional writer and if I know myself this entire blog is probably littered with grammatical errors and poorly written blog posts but its kinda fun to just have a creative outlet to share whatever in the heck I want with anyone who’ll listen.
